Saturday was the much-anticipated run-to-the-mailbox-to-find-out-who-my-teacher-will-be-this-school-year-and-if-my-best-friend-is-in-my-class day. There was great excitement. We're very pleased with the kids' teachers. We happened to meet Austin's teacher last weekend, and we think she's wonderful. We know Kendall's is wonderful because she is the same teacher Austin had in 4K. Kendall is so excited to be at the same school as her big brother. We have about 3 weeks before school starts, but this was overheard one day last week:
Kendall: "Austin, when I go to FPD, if somebody is mean to me or pushes me, your job is to punch 'em."
Austin: "Uuuuuh, OK."
And I just think it might happen, although Kendall can take care of herself pretty well.
